Serving nearly 2500 individuals per year, MAP's food pantry offers a variety of proteins, vegetables, and grains from which individuals choose what they need. We also have gluten-free options for those who suffer from Celiac Disease, and personal care and infant items. The pantry is funded by a combination of food donations, grants, and individual financial contributions. Each family 'shops' for a week's supply of groceries, 3 meals per person, per day, with an average cost of $55 per person per visit.
In partnership with MSU Extension Services, MAP offers Cooking Matters classes to community members, teaching healthy meal planning and cooking on a budget.
The Healthy Choice Food Pantry is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, curbside pickup from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
You must call ahead to pre-register for food.
