Mission for Area People’s Medical and Dental Fund supports the cost of prescriptions, co-pays, consultations, durable medical equipment, dental work, transportation, or other unmet medical needs.

In 2023, we assisted with:

• 75 people served

• $9,863 amount paid

• $130 average price per person

• $10,554 value of medical assistance

• The Community Foundation for Muskegon County

• Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce

Our Medical providers with whom we partner for reduced service fees include:

• 6 Local Pharmacies

• 5 Durable Medical Equipment Suppliers

• 2 Dentists

• 1 Dental Lab

• 1 Physician’s Office

The fund is meant to provide limited financial assistance for emergency situations where no other funding sources are secured. MAP also provides referral services for individuals to other community resources.
