Dec. 23, 2020 Advent Stories of Grace, Compassion and Kindness

For over 20 years, Brad Hilleary has been a loyal supporter of Mission For Area People (MAP). He has filled many positions from a Board member, to volunteer, to a donor. He said that human service is all about location, and MAP is in the right spot to offer a number of programs for those in need.

“Diana Wright-Stubbs is extremely well known and is trusted,” said Brad. “When you give resources, you know they will be used wisely.” Brad feels MAP must be touched by God. There have been years that we weren’t sure MAP was going to financially make it, and somehow it does. They have a solid reputation and a true understanding of the needs in our community.

His favorite memory is helping parents shop and pick out Christmas presents and stocking stuffers for the kids. He also thinks fondly of a few successful fundraisers like Taste of Music which was an evening of eating and dancing.

Brad is owner of Webb Chemical Service Corporation and Trace Analytical Laboratories in Muskegon Heights. He serves on several local Boards including United Way of the Lakeshore, the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, Muskegon Area First Economic Development, and his church. Brad and his wife Janice, have a “Hilleary Gang” of children that they have raised and some of them fostered. They recently became proud grandparents of a baby girl Azalea Kay.
